I truly cannot say enough good things about Pam as a parenting coach. She is extremely down to earth, exceptionally professional, and an expert in her field. She is an absolute joy to work with! Being a new mom, I reached out to her multiple times for advice on my newborn baby girl and always left our sessions feeling more confident and so grateful to have her in my corner. She is incredibly easy to talk to. Whatever problem you may be having or parenting advice you may be seeking, she will carve out a unique plan that works just for you. – Mom of 5 month old in Alabama
We were gifted with your services when our twins were born just over two years ago. We didn't think we needed help, but we were naïve to not realize the benefits. Erica helped me realize I was experiencing postpartum anxiety and was so supportive. She treated my babies as if they were her own. She left us wonderful records and notes and gave us tips and tricks to ensure successful sleep for all of us. She was a wonderful resource for my mother and husband too. I continued to nurse through the first year. At 2, they still sleep in the own cribs and within the same room. They sleep 11 hours and take a 2 hour nap mid day, they eat all foods offered to them and are great eaters. We have been blessed beyond measure and I want to thank Erica for helping us be better parents. – Mom of 2 year old twins in Cary
I just wanted to write to you quickly while the boys are napping to say a huge THANK YOU! We feel so very lucky that we found First Daze. Kara was an absolute blessing to our family. From the moment she walked in the door when the boys were 2 weeks old, I just knew we were in great hands. Her knowledge, guidance, compassion, and foresight were something that this once frazzled, sleep deprived and overwhelmed mum of twins will never forget. The boys are awesome nappers and are currently sleeping 11-12 hrs every night. You have one very happy set of parents right here. I should also take this opportunity to thank Tanecia, too. The night doula services were hands down worth every single penny! Again, I just knew when she arrived that I would be completely comfortable leaving the boys in her capable hands. Everyone needs a Kara and Tanecia in their lives. Pam, you have a wonderful team of doulas. Thank you once again, from the bottom of our hearts. – Mom of 7 month old twins in Clayton
I wanted to tell you how wonderful our experience was. From the very beginning, Ella just adored Missy as I think she could sense her caring, nurturing personality. I also felt at ease right away, seeing how Ella reacted to Missy, and just knew that we were in great hands. Missy spent time getting to know our needs, concerns, struggles and then spent time getting to know Ella. I appreciated that she wanted to figure out the best course of action, not just implement one blanket strategy. We had been struggling to get Ella to take a bottle, but Missy got her to take one on the very first day! She worked with me and taught me techniques to encourage Ella to accept the bottle, and so far we have made so much progress! I’m so thankful for the increased confidence that Missy has given me as a first time mom. She really is gifted with nurturing mommas into motherhood with patience, grace, and encouragement. Thank you for everything! I will definitely be recommending y’all to all of my momma friends! (My parents think this was the best money I’ve ever spent!) – Mom of 2 month old in Wendell
Early on in my pregnancy, another twin mom highly recommended that I hire a postpartum doula. At first I thought, "We don't need to do that. We have a 5 year old, we know how to do this." Man were we wrong! Having twins is hands down the most challenging (yet rewarding) thing we have ever done. Luckily for us, I listened to my friend and Erica from First Daze & Nightzzz became our postpartum doula. We originally started with 4 weeks and now are going on our 4th month with her. From day one our twins had tummy issues and a hard time sleeping. Erica quickly worked with us on how to notice important cues and windows, developing a routine, and establishing healthy sleep habits. Within weeks, our boys began sleeping better and their tummy issues improved. On top of this, Erica is focused on making sure moms are taken care of so they can be the best for their children. She'd bring my breast pump to my bedside with drinks and snacks, and I’d wake in the morning to clean dishes and folded laundry so my sole focus could be caring for my children. It is like a dream! Only it isn’t... IT IS REAL and because of her, I am in the place that I am today. Erica has given us so many tools to succeed, including confidence. She is the most inspiring, uplifting and encouraging woman, and I am so thankful that we found her. Our advice: Expecting moms, first time moms, moms of multiples, moms with 10 kids... RUN don't walk to First Daze and allow them to help you! I PROMISE you that it is worth the investment. – Mom of 5 year old and 4 month old twins in Raleigh
"Pam and Kara worked with me to get my then nine-month-old to sleep through the night. In less than a week we made huge progress and he was sleeping through the night and finally napping longer than 30 minutes at a time. I learned a lot during our meeting and phone sessions. A few small changes to help encourage sleep made a world of difference. My son is now two years old and continues to sleep 11-12 hours a night and nap for 2-3 hours during the day. For our second experience, Kara provided postpartum doula services which proved to be invaluable. She helped me to read my little one’s difficult sleep cues. I am now able to easily tell when he’s sleepy versus ready to nurse. Thanks to Kara, he is napping and going to bed at appropriate times so he is never overtired. He has become a great little sleeper at just 14 weeks old." – Mom of 2 year old and 4 month old in Durham
"I first worked with Pam after my first child was born. My husband and I were tired, frustrated, and overwhelmed, and couldn't figure out why our 4 week old was having such a rough time sleeping. Before she even came to our house, Pam gave me some tips over the phone, and that night our baby slept like a dream! I thought, if we are seeing success after a short phone call, imagine how much success we will have working with her in our home! And I was right. Working with First Daze was the best decision we ever made. Not only did I feel more in control and confident taking care of my newborn, but my husband and I had time to eat dinner together, get things done that we needed to do, and also enjoy our little girl. Pam gave us the tools we needed to be great parents to our first child and now our second one, too. Bedtime and sleep are enjoyable for both our children!" – Mom of 3 year old and 1 year old in Cary
"Pam Diamond and her team at First Daze & Nightzzz were an amazing blessing to me and my family after the birth of our second son. When my husband was doing a considerable amount of international travel, Pam and her team helped me through some very difficult nights when my son was dealing with terrible acid reflux and colic. Whenever I meet a mom-to-be in the Triangle area, I recommend First Daze & Nightzzz to them. They are angels!" – Mom of now 8 year old and 3.5 year old in Cary
"Every first-time mom should have a postpartum doula! I'm so thankful for mine, who has taught me so much and allowed me to relax, sleep, and gain confidence over the past few weeks. She's helped with everything from breastfeeding to cooking to just letting me sleep for an hour while she does the dishes. You really can't put a price on these things, but I'll certainly say it's been worth every dime! Thank you!” – Mom of a newborn in Raleigh
"Pam helped us get our 6 month old sleeping through the night! She was waking up 1-2 times and needed to be rocked to sleep. I called desperate for advice but was skeptical that our daughter would ever be able to put herself to sleep and sleep through the night. Pam was AMAZING! She met with us and listened to our concerns and goals. We left the meeting with a solid plan in place and the confidence to execute it, which is huge as first time parents. Pam was available along the way with phone calls and and emails. She continues to be such a valuable resource for us to this day! Our daughter is now 2 and still a great sleeper and napper!" – Mom of 2 year old in Raleigh
"Consulting First Daze was the most valuable investment my husband and I have made since having children. Our experience was truly remarkable. We first consulted Pam when our second child was around 2 months old. Bedtime routines with a 2 1/2 year old and a newborn had become an extremely long, exhausting process, taking up most of our evenings. With so many books and varying opinions on how to get your newborn to sleep, we were overwhelmed and anxious. First Susan, stepped in to provide us with a few nights of respite and sleep. She worked with our daughter to get her comfortable in her own room and crib, as we desired. Kara then came in to provide us with daytime support and education. Within two short visits, we were able to lay our daughter awake in her crib, and she would peacefully put herself to sleep and soothe herself back to sleep during wakings. Kara and Susan provided us with such loving, support and have given our daughter the gift of healthy sleep habits. My only regret is that I did not know this team existed when I had my first child." – Mom of 2 1/2 year old and 7 month old in Raleigh
"Why don’t babies come with manuals? Thank goodness we met Pam so she could provide us with guidance and direction. She always knew the right things to say and do, especially in the first few months after having our baby. Our son is now almost two years old and we’ve since moved back to Germany. I’m happy to say I’ve been spreading the First Daze & Nightzzz wisdom here in Europe to our friends and family who have newborns. I highly recommend this kind of lifesaver-service, and I appreciate so much the support we had." – Mom of 2 year old in Munich, Germany
